Ted Dekker
Ted Dekker may be described by some as a Christian Stephen King. Being raised by missionary parents in the midst of cannibals certainly influenced his perspective on life and allows him to see things outside of the typical Christian bubble. His books have a strange twist to them and are filled with mystery and suspense but do so without so many non Christian elements that are the norm for the suspense genre. Dekker has not only authored several successful books but two of them – Thr3e and House – have been made into movies. There are talks of producing a movie from his book Blink as well.
